• Architected an AI-first insurance platform on KERI (Key Event Receipt Infrastructure), using cryptographic identity as the authorization boundary for autonomous agents. An agent can take only the actions its credentials permit, making the guardrail structural rather than prompt-based.
• Modeled underwriting, claims and brokerage operations as agent-addressable actions and data models, so LLM agents reason over the domain directly instead of through bespoke per-use-case integration.
• Designed a workbench for the judgment work outside the formal system, such as spreadsheet analysis and document review, pairing conventional AI tooling with KERI-enforced boundaries at every point of interaction.

Sole technical architect in a four-person startup. The platform reached a working prototype and was not deployed to production.

• Retained through Telenav's acquisition of Motion Auto to own the rating engine I designed, operating it as the pricing backbone of the acquired book.
• Turned a new insurance product launch from an engineering project into a business workflow: a rate table authored in a spreadsheet imported directly into the database and was immediately quotable.
• Led R&D on novel coverage products, using the data-driven engine to prototype and price structures that could not have justified a development cycle under the previous model.

Motion AutoCloud Architect

• Designed and built the core insurance rating engine, replacing hundreds of hand-coded rules and individually authored rate tables, the bottleneck that made multi-state expansion impractical, with a single data-driven model.
• Versioned every rate and rule so in-force policies keep the rates they were sold under while new business prices against the current filing. This was the hardest constraint in the design and a regulatory requirement.
• Flattened the pricing data model to support real-time quoting at interactive latency.
• Scaled to multi-state filings and multiple carrier integrations. The engine priced and issued 3,000–4,000 policies.
